What is Clenbuterol for?
Clenbuterol is used to treat asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and acute bronchitis. It also helps with stress urinary incontinence.
Doctors sometimes use it off-label for ALS treatment.
It comes in tablets with 10 micrograms of clenbuterol in each.
How does Clenbuterol work?
Clenbuterol acts like the body’s own chemicals. It binds to beta2 receptors, making airways and bladder muscles relax. This widens airways and eases bladder pressure.
It’s being studied for ALS treatment. ALS causes muscle loss due to dying nerve cells. Clenbuterol boosts NGF, helping nerves grow.
Note: This medicine has not yet been approved for treatment of ALS. Neurologists sometimes prescribe Clenbuterol for off-label treatment of people suffering from ALS.
